1. The Service

Arkaden is a free collection of calm games and brain training by Witzora. The Service evolves continuously — features may be added, changed or removed. We strive for, but do not guarantee, uninterrupted operation.

2. Accounts and identity

You can play entirely without an account. An account (Google or email) is only needed to save progress in the cloud and continue on another device. You are responsible for the activity on your account and use one account per person.

3. Usernames

Usernames on the global leaderboards are public. We may change, replace or remove a username at any time, without stating a reason. This applies, among other things, to names that are offensive or degrading, sexual or hateful expressions, names that could be confused with administrators or suggest that the holder represents Arkaden or Witzora, and names that are otherwise misleading. Names may be reviewed both automatically and manually. The judgement is ours and is a matter of common courtesy and common sense.

4. Conduct

You may not cheat (for example through automation or by tampering with the client or network traffic), exploit bugs to affect leaderboards, disturb other players, or attempt unauthorized access to the system. Results deemed invalid can be removed.

5. Your data

Gameplay is local on your device. What is stored in the cloud is voluntary and minimal: username, optional country, leaderboard results and game progress, tied to an anonymous id or your account. By signing in and using the Service you accept that your results are stored in the cloud and shown on the leaderboards to other users of the Service, and that leaderboards — with usernames, flags and results — may be shared onwards by users, for example to social media. Your private data is never shared: your email address, password and sign-in credentials from Google or other providers are not displayed in the Service and are not disclosed. No ads, no selling of data.

6. Intellectual property

The Service — design, code and graphics — belongs to Witzora. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive right to use the app for private purposes. You may not copy, modify or redistribute the Service.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate the Terms.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided as-is and without warranties, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Changes to the Terms

The Terms may be updated; the date above shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.
