1. Data controller

Witzora is responsible for the processing of personal data in Arkaden. Questions: contact@witzora.com.

2. What data we process

Gameplay happens locally on your device. What is stored in the cloud is voluntary and minimal: an anonymous id or your account, username, optional country, leaderboard results, game progress and, where applicable, a replay of your best game. Your email address and password are used solely for signing in (Firebase Authentication) — they are never displayed in the service and are not stored in our game records.

3. Purpose and legal basis

The data is used to provide the service: saving your progress, letting you continue on another device, and showing the leaderboards. The basis is our agreement with you (the Terms of Service) and your own choice to use the cloud features — everything can be played entirely without an account and without the cloud.

4. Public data

Usernames, chosen flags and results on the global leaderboards are visible to all users and may be shared onwards by users, for example to social media. Choose a username that does not reveal who you are if you wish to stay anonymous.

5. Sharing and storage

Data is stored with Google Firebase, our infrastructure provider. It is never sold and not shared with anyone else. The service has no ads, no analytics or tracking, and no cookies beyond the technical ones required for signing in.

6. Retention

Data is kept until you delete your account. You request deletion yourself on the profile page; it is executed after a 7-day grace period and then removes everything — name, country, results, progress and the account itself.

7. Your rights

On the profile page you can at any time download everything stored about you (data access/portability) and request deletion of your account. You can also change your name and country yourself. For other rights under the GDPR — rectification, objection, complaints — contact contact@witzora.com. Complaints may also be lodged with your supervisory authority (in Sweden: IMY).

8. Children

The service has no ads, no purchases and does not collect more data from anyone — the processing is the same, minimal, for all ages.

9. Changes

The policy may be updated; the date above shows the current version. Material changes are announced in the app.
